St John has designed a dedicated and approved training course to take
you through the best methods for dealing with a range of Drug Related incidents.

The St John training will cover all aspects of recognising and dealing with
drug and drug-related litter finds and will promote Best Practice in all aspects of handling.

The training will encompass:

Drugs and Related Issues

· Outlining prevalence of drug use, drug types and Health, Safety,
Social and Legal issues

Drug Related Emergencies

· First Aid skills for recognising and treating drug overdoses, drug induced seizures, allergic reactions.

· Treating needlestick injuries

Drug Litter Disposal

· Highlighting recommended handling and disposal procedures and incident reporting.
