In order to address the often-neglected area of handling, collection and disposal, PHS Wastemanagement and St John Cymru Wales have designed an unique range of services to provide specialist sharps and controlled drugs disposal solutions.

Sharps disposal

This sharps spillage kit has been developed by PHS and St John Cymru Wales and provides everything required to safely deal with a discarded needle. As part of the integrated service, PHS will ensure that you are supplied with an appropriate number of sharps disposal kits and regularly call to re-stock kits, collect the waste and ensure that it is disposed of in strict accordance with the Hazardous Waste (England & Wales) Regulations 2005.

Controlled Drug Destruction Kit

This unique, patented kit provides a simple and effective means of denaturing any drug finds, thereby rendering them harmless and without value. This service includes a regular, scheduled collection to ensure that these denatured drugs are disposed of in accordance with the law and that you always have replacement kits available when required.
